Report launch and panel conversation: How are grid operators working to decrease carbon emissions, and how can policy foster sustainability efforts?

We are thrilled to invite you to our next event focusing on the decarbonisation journey of grid operators!

While discussions around DSOs climate contribution often revolve around their role in connecting and distributing power to a power system with cleaner generation and decarbonised demand, less is said about the carbon footprint of the DSO business itself. What does it look like, and how can emissions be reduced even further?

This event will mark the launch of our report, Decarbonising Distribution, which showcases the climate impact and digs into how DSOs are actively cutting emissions. DSO experts from Sweden, France, Portugal, and Germany will present case studies on how they are adopting sustainable procurement practices, building greener infrastructure, and maximising material reuse. A panel discussion will follow, bringing together DSOs, grid asset manufacturers, and EU policymakers to explore how industry and policy can work hand-in-hand to achieve net-zero goals. The event concludes with a networking reception.
